Very glad to hear that the offense is coming together and gelling at the right time. Sounds like most of the few remaining question marks on offense will be sorted out shortly. And just need to wrap-up and tackle on defense!!
Beyond ready for Clemson...this is going to be a LOOOOONNNG 2 weeks 'til game day.
GO DAWGS!!
OK guys, time to panic about the defense. Our offense got the better of them today so that means we have problems on the defense. The sky is falling, we can't hold Clemson under 70 points, woe is us. I am really looking forward to all the nay-sayers reacting to this.
Very glad to hear the O-line is gelling and coming together. It’s imperative that they play well against Clemson.
I typically try to focus on the positive. But I have to say I'm a little disappointed that we're still relying on a natural interior lineman to be our left tackle. It's no knock on Salyer when I say I hope that doesn't last very long. Maybe he can just get us through Clemson and we can use the next few games to try sliding him over and letting someone else have a live tryout at the position.
All in all, though, I agree that the latest report is generally pretty encouraging.
Yeah I’d rather see Salyer at guard also. Against Clemson our coaches probably want his experience on the edge. We should have plenty of time to hone things after the Clemson game. One of the younger guys will probably step up. I feel like we have tons of talent on our offensive line.
