Hmmm choosing the loudest SEC opponent I would think LSU Death Valley on a Sat. Night when they are having a good season. I’ve never been there but when LSU is doing well they seem pretty loud on the ole tube. This could be a fun thread. What say ye my fellow Dawgs fans, which SEC opponent has the loudest stadium ?? That’s opponent now.
I vaguely remember the noise at Neyland Stadium being loud when they were winning. I guess that’s why I say, “I vaguely remember” because it was decades ago. Sorry, that was a cheap shot 😉
Go Dawgs!!!
It's all about the acoustics and how the stadium is set up. Some stadiums like A&M looks like the fans are right on top of the field, others seems like the fans in the cheap seats are 100 yards away.
The glorified high school stadium in Atlanta, known as Bobby Dodd stadium, is easily the most disgusting stadium I've ever watched UGA play in. The fans are no better..rude, obnoxious, and far from being a classy fan base. The classless tech fans picked a perfect team to cheer for..
LSU stadium is definitely a hostile environment when the Tigers play a night game. And as you said, it gets even louder if they're playing a quality opponent and having a good season. A&M with that "12th man" also gets pretty loud itself at times.
Any word on Julian Rochester coming back this season? I’ve always rooted for that guy since I met him at the San Antonio AA game
I don't know, I wouldn't really consider a plain statement of fact to be a cheap shot.
