Georgia football fans can relive some of the top moments in UGA history each week with the Classic Moment presented by Classic City Lager. The Bulldogs have one of the most storied histories in all of college football, and DawgNation loves celebrating it. This week’s classic moment looks back on when legendary former Virginia Tech coach embraced an attempt to learn to “call the Dawgs” as a way of celebrating his son, Shane, joining UGA coach Kirby Smart’s first staff in 2016.

How is Vince doing nowadays? Would love to get an update on Charley Trippi as well, as I see he's apparently still alive and will turn 100 in December.

Vince is a prolific author...Has about 16 authored and co-authored books on UGA. I suspect he is busy writing number 17. Vince was coach back in my day mid 1960s. I was one of the photographers for the team back then while I attended UGA. Brilliant coach and AD. Very personable, humble man. Good to see he is still active at about 90 years old. He is Georgia proud.
