IF he chooses USC for football, he has other things on his mind than just football.

No doubt it would be nice to flip Williams and add him to what promises to end up a top 3 class. DL recruitment is an especially acute need in this class due to what could be a mass exodus of DL contributors in '21. The exit from the DL this year could be worse than what UGA saw from the DB's earlier this year. That means UGA needs to recruit 4-5 guys who may need to play major minutes and be serious contributors in '22. MWilliams, Nolen, Shaw, Alexander, SStewart, Miller, Kelly, EWhite......UGA needs to get 3 or 4 more of those guys to go with TWest if UGA is to maintain the level of D prowess enjoyed in the Kirby era. The UGA D is a good place to be. We'll see if these guys are more serious about NIL, brand, Hollywood than they are about winning and team. We don't always understand why CKS takes the guys he takes but we are beginning to understand the kind of people CKS wants to bring into the UGA family.

Interesting how Mykel admits that it’s 100% about Coach Vic at USC. Does he understand it’s very possible Coach Vic may be leaving right after signing day? I’ve heard a million times that you pick the University and program you feel most comfortable with and NEVER base your decision on a single coach. Wishing Mykel the best wherever he goes, but hope he stays in Georgia and plays for his home state team. Go Dawgs!!!

WIth the way things are today a student can go try a school for a year and if the coach leaves or if he doesn't like it, he can just ransfer to a better situation potentially.

Mykel, GA will become a dynasty with or without you. However, it's much easier with you on board. You will want to be a part of that dynasty. Stay home and protect this house.

@ChewDawg LOL Saban has been using that for 15 years and guess what no one has proven him wrong.

I think the kid probably is halfway out the door. He says if any one of four people leave USC, that would "probably sink the ship" for the Trojans. It is almost a certainty that at least one -- if not all four -- of those folks will be gone after this season. Right now USC is hunting for a big-name coach (which they can get) and I can't see that person hanging on to these folks from the prior regime. Anyway, I hope the kid makes a decision that he's happy with.

USC hasn't been relevant in football since Pete Carrol left to go to the NFL and the Seattle Seahawks.

If I was a budding D lineman, I'd look at UGA and salivate at the possibilities. I actually look forward when the offense goes off the field and the defense comes back on. Not many schools have that or have fans that feel like this. UGA's point of pride has always been a stout D. Well we have it and it is so fun to watch. Imagine being a part of that legacy and keeping that standard alive.

What are the chances that the staff he is comfortable with at USCw will be retained when the new coach comes in?

There's a reason the best California players are coming to the SEC and a lot of them to UGA.

How many prime time games would he play in at USC? Not many. At Georgia he would be in the biggest games of the year several times each season. East coast time slots. Maybe he should ask some of those players on our roster from California why they came here instead of staying out there? Those young men sitting in the stands would make a great d line for the future. Maybe as good or even better than the present one?

Why would a 5 star choose USC over UGA in today's reality of where both programs reside in the college pecking order? Where is the center of college football today and into the future?

The University of a georgia #2 and the SEC.
