ATHENS — Georgia football is on the verge of adding several talented prospects, many of them who could go on to All-SEC, All-American and perhaps even be mentioned among Heisman Trophy contenders.

JT + Heisman Talk = Rat Poison
I thought Heisman candidates had to actually play?
Dang @MikeGriffith there you go again! It is kinda sad at this point… lmao!
And, where is Brock Bowers? Not on your list…
Yeah, gotta hate Mike being honest (a rarity in the Dawg Nation crowd) and stating facts.
I’d be very surprised to see JT on the UGA roster in 2022
Stetson has another year of eligibility and he isn’t on that list? 🤔 More straw man/steel man evidence for BA?
We hear this same story every year, getting all hyped up and as the season progresses and reality sets in it all turns out to be smoke and mirrors. Let’s wait till we see some of the season
Bowers isn't DUE for a breakout season. He had one this year. No need for him to be on that list. Major, consistent impact from the jump.
Not sure if you mean the potential Heisman list, or the breakout season list, but Bennett doesn't need to be on either one. He's broken out as much as he's going to break out, and for as much as he seems to be a strong leader and keeps his head in the game more often than not, he's not a Heisman-type QB. Not everyone has to be, and that's ok.
I would be excited to see either a tight end or a defensive player considered. I almost don’t care from what team but do think UGA has a couple of candidates.
Apparently Heisman contenders don't have to actually play anymore. I bet Daniels will transfer after the season and then has legit 18/1 odds, but not at UGA.
Facts? It is all opinion and speculation. Based on limited stats against second rate teams (in college). I believe JT has the potential to be an effective pocket passer at the college level. Perhaps we will find out.
