GPickens is not a 1st rd pick this year. Maybe next year after a full season of health and production. If he leaves after this season (and he probably does) I would be extremely surprised to see him selected in the top 32 players.
Even if he's a 2nd round pick he stands to make a lot of money for a kid that grew up poor. But I'm with you, he should come back and ball out and increase his signing bonus considerably. Hopefully he learns from what JD and Wyatt did.
I was surprised to see that polls have him as high as 8th pick given how little he's been able to play. I would think it'd be a risky move to burn a high level pick on, but who knows.
This might be a way to get him to come back for another year depending on how much they pay him.
Not sure that he will be a first rounder. I think it would be smart to stay, increase draft stock and pocket some $$!
Would love to see him come back and lead the receivers...think his draft stock goes WAY up if he does.
