Look, it's common sense, unless there's some drastic change within a team, they don't just magically become the best of all-time by largely staying the same as they have been.

Ole Miss, when they came from nowhere to pull out that crazy recruiting class, the Atlanta Braves international signing class, etc.

Also, the fact that Jimbo is so fiercely denying NIL having anything to do with their recruiting success...Well, that just screams, "I'm going to go on a tirade, so hopefully noone brings this question up again." NIL dealings ARE LEGAL!! Why wouldn't you take that opportunity to boast about how A&M offers alot of NIL opportunities!?!? And to completely just ignore it...Ehhh, seems a little too fishy..

I have ZERO doubts that A&M is paying its recruits to commit there, but they better just hope for their own sake that they're doing it legally...But, by the lack of insight from Jimbo, and by how defensive he got, I'd bet it is more pay to play than NIL..

Of course A&M is gaurenteeing the NIL amounts the players may not get. Look A&M just got off probation for enticing recruits, with Jimbo getting singled out for punishment because he was involved directly in the violation.

I love how BA says we need some journalism to report on this NIL, I guess even he knows Mike and Conner won’t take the initiative to come up with their own original story and just wait to re-report what ESPN writes about it. Lol

You know how life works out. You better strike while the iron's hot because the opportunity may not be there tomorrow.

I'm curious if you will see a correlation in NIL money schools and transfer-outs. Why not sign for 1 year for money then transfer to get developed after taking your signing bonus? Wonder how long these NIL deals for recruits will happen when the big donors get burned after 1 year.

My how times have changed. Used to be back in the day guys signed with a school because they grew up a fan or had some type of loyalty to their school or state. I’m just glad we got our NC before this gets so out of hand that it loses interest for those that consider what’s going on a turn off. Now it’s whose got the highest rated transfer portal class. Really?? What’s next? Who has the highest rated NIL class? Not sure I can stomach much more.

He'd need to be short-sighted, immature, or crazy to go to rattlesnake country to play. None of his family or friends would see him play in person, regularly, and if his football career is cut short, he'll have no goodwill built up back home on which to build a career.

Just look back at Jimbo Fisher's history and it will become clear that "OF COURSE" he's using the promise of NIL money to draw the best recruits.
