Never would've thought he would be a candidate. If he can recruit and sign in state talent, develope that talent, he'll be successful at UGA. Mike White definitely can't do any worse than Crean did in 4 years..GoDAWGS!

Crazy as it sounds, I told my kids at the Player's yesterday that if UF fired Mike White he would be our next coach. I also told my brother at the Gator Bowl Vince Dooley's last game that Ray Goff was the next H/C. My only 2 predictions though but both off the wall. By the way a lot of Dawgs at the Golf tournament yesterday.

Making a hire that is a step up does not make it a good hire. I don't recall White recruiting GA well. This feels more like White got out of town one step in front of the lynch mob. If UGA was going to "steal" another coach from the SEC E it should've been Stackhouse. He would recruit the heck out of GA. This feels like another Mark Fox hire.

Not a fan of this hire. Laughing their asses off on the Gator boards.

Screw the Gator board. I’m good with it. We didn’t need to “go back” to any names associated with UGA basketball from the past. No way no how He’s got major HC experience. Might as well give him a shot. JMO

I want to know why he is leaving a competitive program to take on a massive rebuild. He will no doubt win more than Crean, but can he keep enough elite in State talent to where we are a threat to Kentucky, Tennesse, and Auburn. With the talent in this State, if we are not consistently in the top 4 of the conference every year and March Madness runs, it is a massive failure. It is far less about facilities and absolutely much more about the coach and his staff. Does anyone think elite recruits would go out of State if Calipari, Pearl, or Barnes were Dawgs?

Okay, Morehead, Brooks, and White, the clock is ticking.
