Extremely well spoken and intellgent young man!
I really like this young man. Last year, he was an unsung hero. To step in as a redshirt freshman land to perform as well as he did was remarkable. His intelligence and maturity must be part of the reason.
He didn't get as much credit as he should have because the other OL starters were known quantities before the season began, while Jones and Mims get the spotlight as top-ten recruits. Even now, Van Pran isn't appearing on a lot of potential All-SEC or All-American lists. But -- so long as Searels keeps developing these kids -- there's a good chance that he will be up for some honors by the end of the season.
Very excited about our OL. If Ratledge comes back strong, and Mims and Jones develop, it's going to be a stronger line than last year. That also bodes well for recruiting a certain high school QB from Van Pran's hometown!
Agree... incredibly thoughtful, mature guy... exactly what we want representing the OL and the G. Also glad to hear him say people best not sleep on Daijun Edwards... dude's got game. Go Dawgs!
Sedrick's is a credit to his parents & family. The job that Coach & his staff are doing in not only recruiting talented football players but outstanding, respectful, smart, courteous, & responsible young men is incredible. While these guys may be 5-star players, they are also 5-star young men. Go Dawgs!!!
