Good list so far except for Fields being listed instead of Pickens. Zero starts and not unseating Fromm makes this a head scratcher.

When I saw Fields and Eason I figured this list was a joke. But, after reading the article, Jeff made some valid points as to the importance of their commitments to solidify and validate their respective recruiting classes which was no small thing so early in Kirby’s tenure.

I doubt that these two will make the list, but in my opinion, Kirby’s absolute best recruiting wins, and there’s been many, were getting Nick and Sony to return for their senior seasons. Bam! Instant credibility for Kirby and his program. Without them, no SEC championship, no playoffs, no Rose Bowl. With them, the foundation was laid for all the recruiting classes to come.
