Any coach from the Big Ten(beside Ryan Day) should never said anything about UGA football or the SEC period. Win the big game, put up or shut up, and you can talk then.

If you don't have the balls to be quoted and stand behind your statement, or write a story with no credibility, you should probably keep your mouth shut.

Good thing for all our defensive coaches that WE WON IT ALL!!!! Their job security is just fine.

Trayvon Walker is overvalued. He didn't have the stats.

Jordan Davis is too slow(?) and didn't have the stats.

Nakobe Dean isn't as good as hyped and was injured a lot.

Channing Tindall wasn't even a "starter".

Kay. Georgia finished at or near the top in a bunch of defensive stats. If these guys weren't doing their part, who was?

Did a little checking and feel like without a shadow of a doubt, this is tied back to Alabama. Gattis WAS at Michigan and left for Miami following HIS offense being shutdown in the orange bowl against our drafted backups. Gattis also used to be at alabama before taking the job at Michigan, so there's the mole. Big ten coordinator/power 5 coordinator=same person.

Side note: big ten fan evidently trolling the forums, down voting everything said about the big ten.

That IS interesting. LOL...Especially considering, Gattis is working for Cristobal...the guy UGA's former defensive coordinator, Dan Lanning, replaced at Oregon.

Only Weenies and cowards take shots from the dark...anonymous comments, anonymous voting and critique, etc.. And, only Journalistic hacks give them any ink or weight. It's cheating. At least have the courage of your convictions and support your stance in person and in writing. If you aren't willing to justify your beliefs through fact and logical argument...why the hell should anyone else do it for you? At least...that's the way I see it.

The comment about the defensive staff being fired if they don’t win is one of the more asinine statements I’ve ever heard. In fact, it supports what Kirby preached and these “backups” bought into - the we is always better than the me when we commit the me to the we. There were really no starters or back-ups on that defensive front 7 so to believe that Tindall or Walker were backups is just wrong. They were such a great defense because they had the depth to substitute freely and keep everyone fresh and aggressive. No secret - those anonymous sources would kill for the luxury of switching that many players and not missing a beat. As far as the 1st pick - either way would have been good but clearly T. Walker showed he can play his best when his best is needed; unlike his counterpart who basically disappeared in their biggest game.

Both of em did. Hutchinson and Ojabo. But, the guy that tracked down a Michigan back from one side of the field to the other, in the blink of an eye, Nakobe Dean,...well, he was drafted AFTER those 2 busts.

    Dean > 7.0 tackles ..5 solo...1 sack ..2 TFL

    Hutchinson & Ojabo together. >.....4.0 tackles ..4.0 solo ..0 sacks ..0 TFL

That's what BIG10/12, PAC 12, ACC and Notre Dame talent looks like against SEC Offensive Lines. Remember Manti Teo? Whatever happened to THAT 2012 Heisman runner up? LOL

    Welcome to the "Bigs" Aiden.
