ATHENS — Jeremy Pruitt spoke up about Georgia’s facilities when he was on staff with the Bulldogs, and on Monday night he explained why the school is at another disadvantage with its scheduling model.

LOL on the recruiting angle. Haven't we learned OVs are now in June. Coaches don't want to be bothered with recruits on game days.
Not trying to be rude, but kinda sounds like Mullen's recruiting philosophy. Pruitt is right when he says we're at a sore disadvantage about the Florida game. What recruits want to come watch us play Vanderbilt in Athens? 2 maybe, if they're local. OV, would never happen on that weekend either.
Pretty sure Kirby has had Top 3 recruiting classes every year (maybe Top 5 once?). Doesn't seem to be dragging UGA down to Mullen level. Perhaps the Cocktail Party TV exposure actually helps recruiting. So no, not Mullen recruiting philosophy.
Anybody else getting tired of the acronym "LOL"?
OV's are to show off the school and facilities. Also, to get to know the coaches, staff, and other recruits. Game days are for seeing the team play. If partying is more important to you than the Dawgs being successful, drive to the coast, find a bar, and party hearty.
You want the best? Come to Georgia! Setting the new standard of excellence! GO DAWGS!
Move the game. Let UF keep their home game in Jax and UGA in Athens. Talk about an electric atmosphere in Athens for that game, definitely a recruiting advantage for UGA.
The game day atmosphere at UGA is epic. Stop the Jacksonville trip every year and move the home game to Athens against the Gators and the atmosphere for that game will not be matched anywhere. Don't sell short the impression the game day atmosphere has on recruits. Georgia absolutely needs to not renew or extend this contract.
Could Coach Pruitt be trying to get a foot in the door at UGA as an analyst?
Kiss the WLOCP goodbye. It is history. This series will not be renewed in Jax. When it comes to the UGA football program CKS gets what he wants. CKS does not want the UGA/FU game in Jax. Stick a fork in Jax, they're done.
Secondly, having that game in Athens every other year will bring a lot of revenue to Athens and the State of GA. Bringing the game back to GA is just smart on many levels.
Kind of reads that way don't it Hooch.
