Georgia football rallied to escape an SEC road upset under the lights in Missouri, but the Bulldogs didn’t do so impressively enough to maintain the No. 1 ranking in the USA Today AFCA Coaches’ Poll on Sunday.

Huh... I thought coaches would turn on the Dawgs this time..#2 is okay with this old boy. Wonder what AP will do?
Surprised we are ranked ahead of OSU. Team looked bad against a bad team. If Nick Saban was as stubborn as Kirby about changing QBs during a game, we would have won the 2017 natty. Unfortunately for us, when Saban’s starting QB stunk it up in the first half of the 2017 natty game, he brought in the backup who lead the Tide to a comeback victory.
So much for the cakewalk to the SECCG. After that game, the season has gotten interesting!
JBMDawg46 who would you have put in as QB, there was no QB going to do any better with the way that O-line was playing, Stetson was running for his life, in fact I'm more impressed with how Stetson survived back there, he is one tough dude, and he helped lead the team back to a victory, not sure Beck or, any other QB could have survived the pounding Stetson went though, and you need to let 2017 go, and stop living in the past, Kirby won a NC because of his stubbornness with Stetson in 2021.
And for 28 minutes Tua looked exactly like a true freshman QB and Saban had nothing to do with the Dawg’s blown coverage.
Not trying to start an argument, but Stet did not lead us to the natty last year. The D did that. Just hoping this team can get it together. Turnovers make winning very hard.
At this point, it just doesn’t matter. Get back to work, get some things cleaned up and get refocused. The rankings have a way of working themselves out. Go Dawgs!
