Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I love the idea of “The” OSU being ranked number 1! 😬

Could Herbstreit be more of a little 10 homer?! OSU, maybe (don’t agree but one could make an argument) but Michigan anywhere in the top 6 is pure favoritism. Again, hold them to the same standard he seems to hold the SEC teams to. Michigan hasn’t beaten anyone of significance and has struggled with 2 pretty weak opponents.

There's a argument to be made that Ohio State has been the most consistent top 5 team. Georgia had a chance to put is foot down against a couple of lesser opponents and didn't. And it's fine. As long as the Dawgs keep winning, they've got 7 more weeks to round into championship form. Either way, this will all work itself out.

What irks me is the coaches' poll. Bama has struggled as heavy favorites twice now, just like Georgia has. But when Georgia struggled for the second time, we dropped in the polls. That Alabama apparently pulled away in that poll after this week is inexplicable.
