Georgia basketball without Kario Oquendo, bench effort spurs 65-61 win over Bucknell
ATHENS – Georgia basketball squeezed out a Friday night win without preseason All-SEC selection Kario Oquendo, who was scratched shortly before the game with a sore knee.

I was at this game and, honestly, it seemed like we should’ve lost. Bucknell was more physical, looked faster for much of the game, had more movement on offense and attacked boards. They got away from their game for a few minutes in the second half and gave up a few fouls that were the difference. Our interior play is rough. Free throw percentage was great. However, aside from Roberts and Etter, shooting was not good at all. Why the heck doesn’t Etter play more? We’ll see where we’re at when the schedule gets real.
You watched a different game than me. Thought we should have won by double digits. Whatever... Go Dawgs!
Much better defensive effort than last year and really impressed with the freshman Lindsey and Roberts' play taking up the slack for Oquendo's absence.
