Kirby Smart, Jack Podlesny take home SEC honors for Coach, Special Teams Player of the Year

Two more Bulldogs picked up honors on Wednesday, with Kirby Smart winning SEC Coach of the Year as voted on by the Coaches. Kicker Jack Podlesny was also named the conference’s Special Teams Player of Year.

I would if it was actually coaches voting. I don't know if it's like the coaches poll where it is typically an SID or someone else filling out the poll for the coach. It's always more impressive to be recognized by peers than strangers. Both coaches did excellent jobs and it being split is a great way to recognize what both did and overcame this year.
