@MikeGriffith great article, but 1 tiny flaw. Not sure who that is, but I don't think that is cj washington in your article photograph. Since he's been sidelined this entire season. Not sure who it could be either. Since actual roster only shows cj washington with no. 27. Plus cj washington has a lot more build than him. Could be a number change during a game maybe.🤷‍♂️ Like I said great article, just happened to notice that.

Ditto. Average NFL career is only three years, if you even make it to a roster. Gotta have that diploma!

GREAT reporting MG! I am excited for these seniors that have stayed the course and increased their value for the NFL draft - in the meantime, they have left an impactful legacy on the Georgia program. I am hoping especially that Darnell Washington does get picked in the 1st round as that would show the younger players that hard work and unselfish play will pay off in the end. He also deserves all the good things that his DGD status can afford him! GO DAWGS!

Ditto. Washington could've easily been in the portal before now. Especially with all the love being thrown on Bowers. Yes he has fought injury, but how often do 6'8" tight ends come along? Any program in the country would've took him as soon as he entered the portal. But glad he stayed with us and improved his draft stock. Super curious to see his 40 time if he is invited to the combine if he does declare.

2nd part to that is, look at what travon did last year. Was he an every down player, not at all, not his fault though. But he made the best of every opportunity he got. And it ended up working out amazingly for him.
