    Tar Heel coach was probably referring to TX A&M. They had the #1 class last year, and they seem to be in need of a QB. Not to mention the rumors of them paying a sum of approximately $30 mil for their draft class last year.

    It's amazing how much certain schools are rumored to pay their players, yet the results don't show it. TX A&M is one such school as is Texas, and there are others - makes me appreciate the Georgia coaching staff that develops and coaches up their players and get great results! It is great to be a Georgia Bulldog! GO DAWGS!

    @GoodtimeDawg

    Texas went 8-4 last year and were two plays - one of them a horrible call by the refs who assumed that Alabama was "supposed" to win - from going 10-2. And this was with injuries at QB and other positions. They don't deserve to be lumped into the nonsense that went on at A&M. I suppose you are throwing that out there because Arch Manning chose Texas over UGA but A. the Manning's don't need the money and B. Manning wants to be the #1 overall pick and there is nothing to make him believe that playing at UGA would do that for him (and plenty to make him believe otherwise).

    Well, stetson bennett was a heisman finalist. We do have a former #1 overall QB with a super bowl victory. Last season, #1 overall. And could very well have another in Jalen carter. So, if you could stop trolling and bashing UGA every chance you get and pay attention, there's some stuff to back it up. And when was the last time Texas had someone taken 1st overall? Bama would make more sense right now, because they have a shot at #1 overall with young.

    Brown says don’t ask him or Maye for names, because no one offered $5 mil. It’s their scam to make UNC look better.

    There's not needing the money and there's taking the money. Two different things. I don't think Warren Buffet needs money either, but he loves making it.

    SHould be fairly easy to find out, "who" is getting paid "what".

    Those guys will have to file income taxes for 2021...and soon, 2022..

    A good investigative reporter could find out...but, the media seems satisfied with "Twitter-verse stories", blowing up rumors and speculation. "If true, blah, blah, blah". Lol...I can do that.
