This is a great and timely article, Conner... very much enjoyed the read, as I'm sure young UGA players themselves would. Brings to life how valuable this role is for both the starting team and those aspiring to start. Nice to see Gunner starting down a similar path to how SBIV developed!
UGA scout team probably could have beaten TCU. They were likely better than TCu, so when the starters finally saw TCU, it was easy.
Kirby said as much, that the scout team did TCU better than TCU did TCU.
Don't forget it was Stet who prepped our def to beat OU. Scout teamers rule!
Very cool look inside an important part of our victory!! Just amazing all the stuff that goes on in the background to get a team ready to play.
That is absolutely the key!
The preparation and development of the players by our coaching staff has no equal! It seems they never run into a situation in a game for which they have not seen or practiced.
Dang, it’s great to be a Georgia Bulldog!
What incredible coaching. They learned, not only what TCU would do in every situation, but also how they would do it. Kirby Smart is a blessing. GO DAWGS!!!
