Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett bagged another major award on Monday, as he won the Manning Award. The award goes to the nation’s top quarterback as judged by the Sugar Bowl and takes in bowl performances as well, whereas most awards do not.

Awesome. An award that actually considers all the games before they decide on the winner. If the Heisman did the same, I think Bennett would've been more than deserving of that award as well.
I fully agree. Way to go Stetson !! And might I add that that was a classy statement by Archie Manning to. I am and have always been a Dawgs fan first, but I will say I held admiration and respect for Archie Manning when he played. Still do. Stetson will go down in UGA history right along side of Herschel, perhaps even greater now, as one of the greatest Dawgs in history.
Looks like the Mannings know an Elite QB when they see one, unlike other professionals.
@reddawg1 Yes Sir he could !! I don’t normally watch or care about the NFL. I was channel surfing tv and just happened to land on that, so I thought well I’ll watch a little. And Yes absolutely as I watched Purdy operate I kept thinking Wow Stetson could do this !! And actually with all due respect to Purdy, with NFL practices, and after gaining some real NFL game experience, I think eventually Better than Purdy. Course I realize the proof would be in the pudding as Stetson would once again have to prove himself. But I can easily envision Stetson in that type of O !!
