South Carolina coach Shane Beamer picked up one of his first massive recruiting wins on Wednesday as he landed 5-star prospect Nycokles Harbor.

Congrats to a good, up and coming HC. But he will need to steal a LOT more players, to make this a rivalry again.
Beamer has certainly brought the excitement back to the South Carolina Yardbirds....I'm pullin for you in every game but ONE....September 16, 2023!

I seriously read the headline and thought they had made him a coach.
I don’t see him having a NFL career (if he proves me wrong good for him), but one would hope he’s gotten his degree and put it to use afterwards.
Holy smokes, I remember him. Is he going to be a coach?
What's worse, just looked and verified it, gibbs will turn 26!! a week after this game. My real question is, how does he still have eligibility?
Perhaps the young? man will get a degree and go on to great things. Sure seems to have had a weird football career

Still eligible, ultimately, because he lost so much time. He hasn't used it all up because he spent so much time either on the bench, in the portal, or in the classroom instead of the field. Strange, indeed, but I can understand using the time if he's got it. I'm not convinced this is terribly headline worthy, though, considering how his career has gone.
I do appreciate that SC recognizes poaching folks from GA as theft...

Makes sense. And like said, it's not really world changing for South Carolina unless the light has finally came on. He's not really had much drive since coming out of HS. Which looks worse on him from now on, NFL or even another job with a degree. No one is really gonna go after someone who went thru college for 6 years now, and no degree yet.
