One of the all-time great Georgia Bulldogs has announced his retirement, with AJ Green posting a short note to his Instagram announcing that his 12-year NFL career had come to an end.

AJ Green, a DGD! Never forgot his roots and gave Georgia major props as he announced his retirement. What a classy guy - loved the game and the game loved him back - just went out and did his job everyday and killed it on the field. And I’d be fine with AJ coming to UGA to start off as an assistant to the Receivers Coach. That is if he gets bored in his retirement. He could start as an assistant, learn the job from a coaching perspective and see how things go. Would be Great for recruiting to have a former NFL Pro like AJ on the staff !! Go Dawgs !!
