Kirby should have already had a come to Jesus conversation with Monken either staying with UGA or going to coach for a lousy Not For Long League Club team
This is dragging out already into week three of Monken waiting on an offer from who know what team. Therefore, leaving Kirby and his program in limbo land where no one should ever want to be.
Monken... either make a dam decision on whether you and your wife want to be Dawgs or pack your bags and ride into the sunset outta Athens. Dragging your personal decisions out into week after week is not cool nor professional
Either your staying dude or your going to a lesser attractive job... your choice but do it now!
No mention of Monken until the 33 minute mark.
Have to agree with Billy, expectations shouldn't be any different for coaches than they are for players. If they're not "connected" it's time to move on, Monken included.
I'm a Todd Monken fan and would like for him to stay. I appreciate his contributions up to this point but don't let this lingering decision negatively affect the recruiting trail, our program, or better yet the young men you have been developing. I would think he respects Kirby enough to have already let him know his intent and Kirby is prepared.
