Same ole "strengths & weaknesses" with Beck and BVG. Beck seems to have upped it a notch...but, BVG still can't hit the broad side of a barn. Smh...Lol.
I said, that Vandergriff was going to have to improve his accuracy, before he could be named "starter". Maybe, he's just not capable of throwing any better...or...maybe nerves got to him, a little bit today. You know darned well, he's been working to improve his most identifiable weakness.
You can't be so scared of throwing an interception, that you wind up...out-throwing your receiver...or, throw it so far out of bounds that neither the WR or DB can catch it in fair territory.
I believe it was Daniels that said..."you have to throw the ball, where your highly recruited WRs have a chance to make a play. They're athletes, too."....Or something to that effect.
IMO...Daniels and Bennett, did the best job of exhibiting that philosophy, since Aaron Murray. Actually, Fromm was pretty fair at that part, too. Bennett, later confirmed that he learned that little lesson from Daniels. Who brought it with him from Cali.
