    Meanwhile, Dawgnation has totally ignored the Jamaal Jarrett racist remarks.

    If you've never had a racist thought go ahead and condemn. Otherwise let the coaches handle it.

    The point is, there is nothing reported about it, here. Personally, the only opinion I have is the distain for double standards. Had McConkey done something like this with a Latino announcer, he'd be history.

    @reddawg1

    Yeah. It is getting national news coverage. Fox News, New York Post, Athlon Sports, Outkick, Larry Brown Sports etc. DawgNation and the AJC should address it. And @Popeyethesailor is correct too. Several white athletes have lost their scholarships for less, including Marcus Stokes, who went from being committed to the UF Gators to having to sign at a Division II school. And Stokes was merely reciting the lyrics to a rap song while rapping along with it. Yes, it hurts the Gators, which to UGA fans should be a good and necessary thing, but not like this.

    These double standards stink. They create a ton of resentment that a lot of unsavory actors are exploiting.

    Read an article just now about the Jarrett comments. A couple of Twitter commenters were talking about “ the culture imposed” on Georgia players. Want to bet those commenters are fans of rival programs ??

    And where are all the comments about the many Good things players at UGA do and have done ?? From visiting kids at Children’s Hospitals to helping clean up areas ravaged by tornados, the list would go on and on.

    There is no more negative culture at UGA than any other school, just the Fact that players are individuals. And as individuals Some times Some do and say things they shouldn’t do or say.

    But many times, many UGA players Do and Say positive things that are great for the school, the community, and the state at large.

    I’m so glad that Some of my fellow Dawgs fans brought up the issue of double standards. Because it looks to me that to create sensationalism, many media outlets have decided to employ double standard tactics.

    In conclusion UGA has no more or no less problems with players than any other school in the country, truth be known. Go Dawgs !!
