    the glaring flaw in the playoff system is that a team like Tennessee who was fading at the end would rewarded an extra home game. Meanwhile, the big winners of the regular season, Georgia and Michigan, do not. They need to figure out a way to get more of the games on campus, especially for the teams that deserve it. To heck with the bowls at this point. Play the games on campus.

    @BogartDawg The first-round bye is mighty powerful ... and the bowl sites mean money, which pays for coaches and players and keeps ticket prices down
