You have to go to their house and we have to invite them to ours. Those are going to be some awesome games.

If the game stays in Jacksonville and Gators stay irrelevant, Florida wins cause of the traffic and revenue spent in Florida.

Where are the Athens Clarke County Mayor (Gertz) and Commissioners on this topic? For the same reason both the Mayor of Jacksonville and Mayor of Gainesville are campaigning for the game to be played in their respective cities (significant local economic impact), the Athens/Clarke County Commission should be doing the same thing. Each time UGA plays what would normally be a home game at a neutral site, the Athens and greater Athens area loses out on millions of dollars in economic impact (sales tax to the local municipality budgets). The greater Athens/Clarke County area is typically left with games like Charleston Southern, Samford, Kent State, TN Martin, Ball State, and UAB (low interest home games) vs. North Carolina, Clemson, Oregon, and Florida (very high interest/national audience games). Seems like Athens/Clarke County is getting hosed when you consider the infrastructure and services it funds/maintains that support UGA football and the amount of UGA property that is exempt from property tax digest.

Athens should be inserting itself to the table (based on economic interests) and campaigning for a Home/Home schedule with Florida.

With the start of the new scheduling format in 2024, it is the perfect time to ditch J'ville for home-home in perpetuity.

The Cocktail party tradition of Jacksonville is old and worn out. Time to move on...

If not home and home (I support Kirby), then play in ATL at the Benz. Just a neutral as Jax :-)

It doesn’t matter, Jacksonville Jags owner is pushing to relocate to London and with the league really pushing for international games, it will happen by 2028 and it won’t matter what the schools, coaches, or city wants and it will be a permanent home and home. Jags already have 2 games this year in London, they are the only team that plays there every year. It not if but when!
