Even though those young men will get developed into a potential 1st round pick. Many of the recruits, especially on the D-line don’t want to wait and work though the process to learn, grow, and excel right as you enter the draft.
the few who accept the challenge are of the character that Coach Smart likes.
thus regardless of the stars and the rankings, do they truly have the heart of a DAWG.
True about Georgia Heart, but when focused on D-Line--They may see playing time as true freshmen.
Agree, but totally depends on the roster as a whole. Not including the exceptions, playing time as a freshman begins with mop-up duty early and you may earn an occasional rep late in the season. Year 2 includes working into the rotation and year 3 potentially a starter
Not so sure about that. Bear was most likely going to start by early or mid season in his 2nd year and that is with 4 seniors on the squad. This young man most definitely will play early and often his first year and if not start by the 2nd year he will be in the rotation as a regular which is pretty much the same thing. 3rd year AA and then off to the NFL. This guy is that great.
Bottom line is it is kind of the perfect storm for a small handful of DL prospects and make a difference early. We need 4 or 5 this year and all of them will play early and all of them will be drafted in the first 4 rounds of the draft and 2 or 3 of the 5 we are going to take will be first rounders. This guy is that good.
Watching Mr. Nwaneri's film I was impressed with his quickness. The fact of the matter is that UGA is one of the only places where if you demonstrate in practice you can be a consistent disruptor, as in Cat 5 hurricane, you will get a game time chance to show your stuff. Of course there are several other Cat 5's wanting the same and the philosophy is to rotate so that your position is always fresh and at peak performance. UGA is not the TEAM to be singular star. Williams Nwaneri, if you can handle the challenge, you're our guy and on your way to becoming a DGD!
