ATHENS —There has been a lot of talk about the quality and intensity of SEC stadiums, with most predictably subjective on the matter.

ESPN thought it was more beneficial to not retire Lee Corso than to keep DP. Also, keeping 2 Big 10 representatives.
Utk went about 6 or 7 years not selling out to their biggest rivals Alabama, Florida, UGA. That wouldn't happen at UGA against uf, auburn, or utk. Of course they say there is over 100K every game when clearly there's 30k empty seats.
How can ESPN be considered relevant if they do not have an SEC representative on their Gameday panel? The SEC is the most talked about, most dominant conference in college football and the braintrust at the network thought it a good idea to send Pollack packing? And then give Pat McAfee a 5-yr 85 million dollar contract?? McAfee reminds me of the uncle in the famly that shows up to an event drunk, gets drunker, louder, and eventually has to be kicked out the door by the rest of the family. Just sayin'.
The upcoming season is all about BAMA. And might I add, thank goodness! They will get all the time slots, especially their home games. They will get all the benefit of any doubts. Why? Because they earned it! Saban has accomplished so much and proved so many coaches inept that when another program threatens his status, it is big news. Through dedication, incredibly hard work and an equally incredibly large wallet, it is UGA that has earned neck and neck status with Bama. That's what it took, and thats where we are. It's been proven nearly impossible to win three straight Championships, but this man's opinion is that we will. Talent, depth and development. We have all three.
I agree BEACHDAWG. We need no attention on us. Just put the work in everyday, stay humble and just WIN!
