They were "hungry" last off-season... Should've lost to Texas, embarassed at Tennessee(new record of program penalties in a game), and some oblivious play calling against LSU. BUT their standard is higher than UGA's, 🥱. Puff on that chest a little harder. Physical, nope, that all went to the wayside when Kirby left Bama. And it's obvious it followed, eventually. Bama still recruits well, but their teams have slowly gotten worse year by year. Without Bryce Young, easily would've been 3-4 loss teams the last 2 years.

AL has been on the top of the mountain for so long that they developed a level of arrogance. Clearly still on display with Latham. The difference now is that previous AL teams earned their arrogance on the field.

Last year AL assumed that if they showed up they'd win. CFB has changed from a few years ago. There is more talent spread around. Who develops that talent the best can now win. AL players showed up entitled. They lost some of their hunger. They forgot that there are other, hungry and talented teams out there.

Just showing up does not work in CFB in '23. Just showing up last year cost the AL OC & DC their jobs. How hard are AL players willing to work?

How good are the new OC & DC? Can they correct some of the bad habits that AL showed last year? Some yes. All? IDK.

IF all the AL players are as entitled as Latham seems, AL probably doesn't win the SECW. What is "disrespectful" is saying your team will be better after losing a Heisman winning QB and a Defensive POY.

Like UGA, AL will go as far as their level of QB play takes them.

Here's the deal Trench King....get a orange vest and you're qualified for employment with the Alabama DOT....First you've got to get by Texas who almost beat you last year when you had a stronger team, then LSU who has two QB's that will be first round DP's.....Keep in mind TK that you've yet to determine who your QB will be......where LSU is holding two aces in a game of high card wins, your team is holding at best three one eyed jacks and least you forget, The Dawgs are holding 3 aces surrounded by royal flush in case you want to change the game.

Bama replacing their all-everything qb, Young. Replacing their OC with outside hire. Replacing DC with outside hire. Bama will be good. But, likely, not going to top LSU, this year.

Sounds like Bama has already ingested rat poison and the season hasn’t even begun. I am looking forward to the SEC championship and CFP with or without Alabama.

Ga vs Bama position by position you would choose Ga players 14 to 16 times over Bama. Bama loses 2 to 3 games and LSU wins the West again.

"Disrespectful"? Seems like Alabama players are getting more arrogant, entitled nowadays. Plus, the only thing guaranteed in life are taxes and death. Just go play your best game and appreciate the fact that you can tell your family, friends, kids, and grandkids that you were coached by the G.O.A.T before he retires. Go Dawgs!!

Not sure they make it to the SECCG. Feels premature...

This guys is living in the shadow of the team's status when he was recruited. He has nothing to hang his hat on now. I bet CNS is not happy he said that.
