I can see it being close until halftime, then the DAWGS talent, and depth will wear down Tech in the 2nd half. As I posted earlier on a comment here, DAWGS by 24. Final 45-21..GoDAWGS!

Lots of prep talk by Key to animate his squad...okay...bring it...all the other UGA foes have done the same and the results speak for themselves...UGA ...no losses....all wins....against much better teams than the Bees. Until the field yields its final tally, it is all talk.

“ATHENS — Georgia Tech will take the field fearless on Saturday night”

General Custer was also fearless when he took the battlefield against the Indians at The Little Bighorn, but it didn’t go well for him. Just sayin……

    GO DAWGS!

I am sure they aren't taking GTech lightly. They are very motivated but I'm sure Kirby has his team focused. End this game early and come out injury free. Let the reserves get some more experience. Go Dawgs!!!

“When you come into the season, there’s two goals,” Key explained. “There’s a goal to go to the bowl game and there is a goal to beat Georgia."

So, their goal every year is to win 6 games? That is kind of sad.

They could be one of those 5-win-teams which occasionally get a minor bowl game. That's probably their goal. It fits 'em.

Tech's had a good season (for them). Tech is playing some good football (for them). Tech establishes lofty goals (for them).

    Go, Dawgs!

"Georgia fans will be quick to point out the Bulldogs have gone 18-3 against the Yellow Jackets since Key’s playing days."......

“**** right it does, yeah it does,” Key said. “Rivalries are not one-sided, rivalries are competitive games between two teams, that is what makes rivalries great......Just like every other opponent this year, we know we will get their best effort, and I expect no less from The North Ave Bumbling Bees.......BUT, as I have stated before to beat The Dawgs you've got to bring at least as much talent depth, as much execution which is motivated by superior coaching and an all consuming refusal to be beat held by every player on your team....short of that, it'll be 19/3 come Saturday at the **** of midnight. Didn't happen against Clemson, which is not as good defensively as Georgia and not even close when it comes to offense!

Yeah he's not even preaching to them to win the ACC. That bar is pretty low for just trying to get to a bowl. 2nd goal is a little more out of reach. He's got a long way to go to where he needs to be to even remotely smell that goal. Gonna take more than bringing up that they won 3 in a row way back when to actually do it against Kirby.

GT have an inferiority complex. They’re angry and envious because they aren’t good enough to be Bulldogs. That sort of mentality is dangerous. They will throw the kitchen sink at us. Guaranteed. CKS understands this. Our Bulldogs will be ready.

    Go Dawgs!

They wouldn’t even be bowl eligible now if not for for a d^*#%+ss call by the Miami coach to not take a knee with about thirty seconds left in the game. My wish was they would have five wins and the Dawgs would keep them out of a bowl. Now, just kick their whiny ^%*. Go Dawgs!

We have become so accustomed to beating Tech that it is no longer special. But losing to Tech is absolutely awful. Their fans can be obnoxious and it makes for a miserable year. The Dawgs need to go out there with passion and motivation and destroy them.

If GT doesn't beat UGA today--and it won't-- they can be proud to turn in yet another non-winning season. Right now their record is 6-5 including the gift from Miami. Understand that Brent Key must be upbeat and motivational, but I believe he has been downright disrespectful to UGA, the reigning two time national champions. It would take an Act of God for GT to actually beat UGA. If they lose by less than 30, than Kirby Smart has put in the 3d stringers and walk-ons after halftime.

That's because they ARE inferior. They have even lost their academic superiority they once held over UGA.... They are now just a trade school in a bad neighborhood in downtown Atlanta. The Varsity even wants to move away from them.

Paul "Fishfry" Johnson's tenure as the head coach totally destroyed the GT football program. With its high school stadium in the middle of the inner Atlanta ghetto, they will never, ever recover.

From the SAFETY of your own home. Chances are you will get mugged getting to the stadium, during the game, or trying to get back to your car to escape the combat zone.
