ATLANTA — Georgia football made history on Saturday night. The Bulldogs won yet again, besting rival Georgia Tech 31-23. That the Bulldogs beat the Yellow Jackets is hardly of note given the way this rivalry has gone since the turn of the century.

Reading many of these comments really makes me embarrassed to call myself a Georgia Bulldog fan with the amount of negativity and "privilege" I see from here. Did the Dawgs play a lackluster game? No doubt, but it seems like everyone is blind to the fact Kirby Smart held out most of our offensive playmakers last night to give them time to heal and the FACT he was playing a vanilla run offense style against Tech. And of course I guess most of you obviously didn't watch the Alabama game as they played 10 times worse than Georgia did and they should have lost to a mediocre Auburn team. To make the foolish statement that if Georgia plays Alabama the way they played against Tech, they are going to get beat is ridiculous. So many of these comments are just really sad to read and you should be ashamed of yourselves for acting like Bama fans have been acting for the past 15 years when they don't have a near perfect game.

Any victory over Tech is worth celebrating. Any undefeated regular season is huge.", JimWallace, you are indeed a man of wisdom an experience....I too was B/R in the Classic City, Athens High 70, UGA 76. What we saw was the best Tech team I've seen since the Carson, Rodgers, Ross years.....I have no doubt that Key will bring the defensive toughness back and Buster will add the offensive creativity.....Tech's problem will continue to be talent depth........all in all we beat a very good Tech team and with that said for the past four weeks my church has focused on "THANKFULNESS"......for The Dawgs to be where they currently are, I for one am extremely THANKFUL!
Not to mention, my HOPE for the future has never been higher.......on to BEAT BAMA, and then who ever else the cat drags in!
