Congrats to Fran Brown. Allowing coaches to not meet the obligations of their contracts; allowing "outs" in situations where a better job offer was on the table... which started many years ago... all led to the transfer portal and NIL for players. I hate it but its what it is. Sexton started it.

Hines played just about every position on offense. Not sure he would be a good fit at coaching db's, although he did everything possible to make a db's life miserable for many years.

Anyone who would ever vote your statement down has never read his interview when asked what he would do if offered any type of coaching job at UGA.

    That dude is a dawg!

Glad he was here while he was. That is life at the top. You get to hire whoever you want, the best coaches basically, then the more experienced ones tend to become head coaches.

But with Kirby on staff and Muschamp, we just need a good recruiter to fill that job. Kirby and WIll got this. Seriously.

Last, we are lucky to still have Schumann and Mcgee for this long. Mcgee was a great high school coach. I would think that he wants to see what he can do at this level. Maybe I am wrong, lot of job security and really good pay right now, stability. But, if he does want to be the head ball coach, he is what about 50 or 51 now? Older than Kirby

Brown is the fifth head coach to a Power 5 school. Lanning, Brown, Pittman, Tucker & Beamer.
