How deep are bamas pockets? We should all ask the refs together.
I agree. Their families will have a merry Christmas this year.
I'm probably not angry enough for most people in how I viewed tonight.
Congrats to Bama for taking advantage of opportunities. We had several self-inflicted mistakes that cost points (penalty before FG attempt and fumble at our own 11 that led to a FG were the most obvious) and one really bad miss by officials/replay on the 4th-n-4 completion that wasn't a completion (Bama scored a TD on next play). The rest was holds and calls that all fans complain about after every game. IMO, we didn't execute much at all from our 2nd drive of game til 4th quarter and that is on us, not the refs. The 4th quarter was what you expect from 2 SEC champs, swapping blows and one survives in the end.
Our guys have nothing to be ashamed of...played their rears off for 3 years and should be proud. Tonight is over and in the past...time to start the next winning streak.
I mentioned this on a previous thread. Refs would help, Bama wins Natty - Saban retires on top.
For some reason we just can't beat Bama in the SEC Championship game. No matter what we do, what players we have, what coaches we have. And Saban is now 17-0 in Atlanta, and Kirby is 0-4 against Bama in Mercedes Benz.
Just crazy.
"Alabama outgained Georgia 321-306". Nope. Uga outgained Alabama by that margin. Does not matter though. The score does. We made costly mistakes and they did not. That happens sometimes.
They can’t beat us without help from the refs.
