Mews is looking for a big NIL pay day. He knows that the NFL isn't in his future. Who would sacrifice a scholarship for his limited talents? He's walking away from his best opportunity.

Georgia clearly had the best team in CFB in 2023. They just had too many injuries, and even that wasn't enough, it also took several blown calls by the SEC officials to allow any team to beat this team.

I'm **** proud of this team. They were the best of them all in 2023 and deserve to be in the 4-team playoff. They should put an asterisk beside the name of the team that wins this bogus playoff.

Looks like starting next that college football will be much different than it has been up till now. NCAA football has become an association of thousands of free agents who get football scholarships to represent their schools. Team loyalty has really decayed, though... If trends extrapolate, in a few years NCAA football will just be a big NFL farm league. Very sad. I believe that when this happens that students, alumni, and fans will lose much of their passion, interest, and loyalty in their alma mater teams.

History will not be kind to the leadership of the NCAA over the past 10-20 years...

No telling what the team will actually look like next year after all the transfer portal action has died down and decisions made on whether to stay or go to the NFL early...

    Very sad, overall...

Smart would have been more competitive for coach of the year if the Dawgs had beat Alabama. Unfortunately, Georgia lost once more to the Crimson Tide. The game was not near as close as the score might indicate. Both the coaches and players made multiple mistakes that result in losses. I am very disappointed in this game and fear it set our program back significantly on on the national scene.

We have had a great three year run, though, and nobody is more grateful or appreciative than I am.

Next year will be a new adventure! Hope we can be elite in 2024!
