Look at Griff calling it out “free agency”!!

What?? Already removed the Free Agency tag from the head line?

Smart decision. Higher percentage chance this brings him a lot more money in the NFL.

Mike, you didn't mention any hope of Mims coming back. Is it a foregone conclusion that he is entering the draft?

Best comment: grown man maturity that incoming recruits simply don't have. Nice jab mike. We all know where that was directed towards.😉

In the realm of college dreams where so often commitment takes flight

Enter Carson Beck, crafting his narrative, after waiting his opportunity, game by game,

     In ever clear sight!

Once lured by the TIDE, where powerhouse glory gleamed.

Yet a DGD’s purpose, in his heart did brightly beam!

In the Red and Black, where NFL prospects entwine.

Carson, like Stetson, Murray, Greene and Fromm….Zeier, Tarkington, Stafford, Shockley, Carter and Belue,

    A legend in the line.

Just one of eleven cogs in another powerhouse TEAM.

    More Leader than QB,

With an ever-grander ambition just beginning to be seen.

So Dawg Nation Fans await… HOPE is in the air!

For Carson is committed, another year he did declare.

While making Christmas dreams come true, destiny did call.

    Committed to fill his purpose,

Where another undefeated season, SECC, Natty and maybe a Heisman enthralls.

The university negotiates with the player to come to a meeting of the minds for the player’s services and an agreement is reached for the services the player will provide and the compensation the player will receive for said services. This has all the earmarks of a contractual agreement between the university and player regardless of where the funds are derived to pay the player. Should any written agreement between all parties be subject to the Freedom of Information Act? Inquiring minds want to know!

Currently, the school isn't the one that pays them. Its either corporate endorsements or through the Classic City Collective for UGA - neither can be directly associated with the school. Due to this, I don't think FoI would apply.

Dawgs fans ( at least most) are happy because they Know Beck is a DGD. He’s Proved it by waiting his time, and now yet again by coming back his senior year. Raiola, well all we saw was allot of Talk then breaking his commitment really late in the process. So we’ll take the Proven vs the not so much. Go Dawgs !!

Regarding Ladd, Beck spreads the ball around too much, and rightfully so, for any receiver to put up big numbers and improve their draft position. (Bowers solidified first round status as a freshman with the only question being how high in the first round will he go). With that, I doubt Ladd would go any higher than the third round and if he has a third round grade this year, he should go. He's better in college than Hunter Renfroe (5th round), and Wes Welker (undrafted) and Julian Edelman (7th round, QB). At this point, what does he have to prove? He has very good hands and may be the best route runner in college football not named Marvin Harrison, Jr. Go get your money kid and start the clock on your second NFL contract. I'd take him right now on the Falcons over Khadarell Hodge and Scotty Miller, ALL. DAY. LONG!

Take away our red/black-colored lenses, and his lack of tape and questions of durability could cause him to tumble on the board. In fact, it's not out of the question, completely off. Put in another full/healthy year and solid SEC numbers, and he ensures that doesn't happen in 2024. I'm sure he has all manner of advisors helping him sort it all out, but I see a return as a pretty darned good option. Go Dawgs!

Dillon Who? Kirby always takes the high road, with all the hullaballoo going on in college football we're in good hands. Wishing all Dawgs a Merry Christmas and that we all know we're blessed, regardless of what we're facing in our personnel lives, ya'll know who I'm talking to....

I don't agree that McConkey is leaving-He has missed many games because of injuries and one more championship year at Georgia would elevate his NFL stock considerably.
