Still wrapping my head around the fact that professional football teams with SEVEN losses will be in the playoffs to try to win a championship but college teams that slip up once are done. 12 teams will cut down on the BS but man the 4 team playoff never made sense

This selection group needs some new faces. They can't seem to get about anything correct.

Just like I posted yesterday, the polls are nothing but professional wrestling kayfabe narratives. If the poll was legit, Georgia should be #3, even though it's well understood that a healthy Georgia team would have beaten both teams that play for the NC last night. I fully suspect that at some point the NCAA will finish its investigation of Michigan's, uh, indiscretions and **** them of the NC; however, that remains to be seen. If the polls were legitimate, the final tally would be Michigan*, Georgia, Alabama, Washington, and Texas. Michigan gets the asterisk due to the possibility that they will be stripped of the NC at some point. When the CFP dropped Georgia from #1 to #6, us Georgia fans knew the fix was on... Nothing but professional wrestling kayfabe shenanigans

Politics, Politics, Politics, that’s what it All boils down to. UGA is the Real #1. But for the purposes of this AP the Dawgs should have been no lower than #3. Go Dawgs !!

Michigan is only #1 out of the CFP teams... then There is Georgia, that is all. I would have love to have seen a team trying to run against Georgia, using the run to set up the pass, good luck with that

Alabama looses in overtime to Michigan and drops to #5, while Washington loses by 21 and stays at #2? C'mon.

It was clear from the start that both were the weaker semifinalists, and Michigan amply proved that last night.

Truth is that Michigan, Alabama and Georgia are closely bunched. I still think Georgia firing all cylinders beats Michigan or Alabama firing all cylinders (a healthy Bowers alone would make the difference).

But you gotta give #1 to Michigan: They won it and they truly did look the part last night. Corem is a beast and their DL is really good.

I'd put Alabama #2 simply because they beat Georgia, and then Georgia #3. Then, Washington, then Texas.

Leaving Georgia aside, the teams that stood out to me are FSU and Mizzou.

FSU gets blown out by UGA, and they are only 2 places below us...okay3, since they're 7th, but tied for 6th.

Now, Mizzou wins their bowl game against The powerhouse, and Mizzou is STILL ranked below FSU????

Clearly, the people doing these rankings don't specialize in critical thinking.
