Contrast that fan reaction to Braves fans welcoming Dansby Swanson back after he left the Braves. You can’t hide class, nor the lack of it.

Two thoughts: the officiating (again) was poor. You can't focus on one play at the end of game because there were terrible (or completely missed) calls all night that affected scoring drives.

If you thought booing Stafford (a genuinely good guy) was bad, google "Jerry Krause Chicago Ring of Honor ceremony."

Big deal, who cares? When Freddie Freeman left to Dodgers and came back, he got applauded during his ring ceremony but then booed when he went up to bat and he spent his entire career with Atlanta and did donations…get over it, you boo the players who left for greener pastures to win!

Look at this ridiculous article on yahoo about the same game and look how they chose to make Stafford look like the bad guy. No mention at all about what the Staffords have financially done over the years for the Detroit community. Only that Stafford "took millions" from the owners over the years. This is counter to MG's article which I think was much more fair and honest about the situation at Ford Field.

Detroit is like all former major cities nationwide. They are all in decline by any measuring protocol you use. Former nice areas are now rapidly becoming slums.

LOL, it's Detroit. I don't think Detroit was EVER nice and friendly even in its "heyday" with the Automobile Industry booming there, it was likely a place of corruption, laziness and likely a lot of ugliness. I'm sure they share a lot in common with New Jersey.

Stafford put in his time and helped Detroit more than they will ever acknowledge. Detroit fans I'm sure boo their coaches and players and heck, probably their cheerleaders so par for the course.

This guy needs to go work for CNN/MSNBC/Fox News etc. The bias and slanted nature of this is mind numbing.

Detroit fans showed their true true colors..not suprisining. They forget what Stafford did to help the community. Not to mention playing for their losing franchise, during the best years of his career. How easy the southern Canadians forget..

Detroit couldn't win with HOF RB Barry Sanders, that speaks volumes. They've never been relevant, they got lucky and had 1 good year this year..back to .500 or below starting again next season..

It’s Detroit. No explanation needed. Classless!
