The NFL knows what they are getting from UGA players because of the type of players Kirby recruits, the culture he has developed and the practices he runs. Reportedly, NFL scouts are common visitors to UGA practices. When George Pickens got to Pittsburgh his first year, he said UGA practices were tougher than the Steeler practices. I have been to Mobile to see practices and Senior Bowl games and it is a great week for the NFL coaches to get to know the potential NFL draft picks. It is a more casual setting than the combine and players, coaches, scouts and fans have a lot of access to get to know the players. It truly is a great week with the week leading up more valuable than the game played. I hope players like Edwards get a chance to impress.
Everyone seems to care about UGA players except for the Falcons.
The NFL will see Georgia players that are disciplined TEAM players who can catch, run, block and tackle.....hope the Lions and Ravens are paying attention.
Maybe that’s a good thing for the players!
