It has been a bumpy start for Kalen DeBoer in Tuscaloosa, to say the least.

Glad to see there is uncertainty in bamaland. Georgia was in the wilderness for quite awhile, let's enjoy bama's trip there for a while.
You may be right Mike. I think it’s hard to predict how this hire will work or not work. DeBoar has won big everywhere he’s been. This indicates he is a very good football coach. The staff issues you describe are certainly troubling if one is a Bama fan. Perhaps a bigger issue is the lack of physicality I saw from his Washington team. His biggest problem may be Bama fans and their entitlement attitude. They seem to have zero recollection of how far Bama fell after Bear retired. Some of that fall was the fans’ unwillingness to give a very good coach and man like Bill Curry a chance to build the program up again. I mean throwing a brick through a window of someone’s home is pretty crazy. Yeah, that was some nut no doubt, but many in the fan base were encouraging such crap.
If the Tide fails to roll in quickly, it could get **** in a hurry.

Gotta love it. My Bama Fan neighbor won't even look at me.
There will be a lot more Bama players hitting the portal this spring and their recruiting will also take a big hit in the next few years. There will be no stability in Tuscaloosa for a few years and maybe a couple more head coaches.
TIl we beat them on the field the next time we meet it's all just words.
