I hope Dell does bring a championship to Georgia State. I find it curious that the previous head coach left for a lesser position at SC. I can't help but think maybe Coach McGee could have waited for a bigger opportunity. Best of luck to him though. I can see him excelling in the NFL too.

He went home to be with his kids in Columbia. Was always a heartbeat away from leaving.

Seems like the names...."Bryan McClendon"...&...."Del McGee", have been associated with UGA, Outstanding Offense & Special Teams play and excellence in recruiting, for an awful long time.

In fact...I think the McClendon "tree" started with "Willie McClendon" [Running Back from Brunswick, Ga]....wayyy back in the mid-'70's. If there was a "McClendon", before "that"....I don't know about him. I know there's been a few since and Bryan is one of em. I wish him all the happiness and success in the world.

IMO....It's about time those two "Boss-Dawgs" found another kennel. Gotta expand the "Junkyard" breed, dontcha know...or they'll start comin' out deformed and stunted. 😅 Lol....besides....there's only room for 1 "Alpha-Dawg" on a football team...and, that's Kirby Smart.

Go git em Del and Bryan. Howl at the moon, boys.
