Undeserving. One and done...
I'm good with this in year 2. Year 1 was a jump from a horrible year to .500...Year 2 was over .500 with a very competitive team in a very competitive league (and some good OOC wins) and a post-season tournament home game. Rather build something in steps that is sustainable rather than throw together a Kentucky "one-and-done" team that jumps to NCAAs quick and then sinks to the bottom the next year.
DAWGS had a 23 point lead 65-42..in the 2nd half. A below .500 Xavier team has cut it to 2..76-74 with 1 min left, absolutely pitiful. EXACTLY why UGA DID NOT deserve any tournament bid this year..inconsistent play, all season. UGA Blows a 23 point 2nd half and hangs on to barely beat a below average Xavier team by 2 points, and some consider that a step forward 🙄. Typical inconsistent UGA basketball..some things never change.
