Well, did not blow the23 pt lead this time. Finally played whole game and .....won! Xavier did mount a comeback as most teams do against UGA but the Dawgs held on to finally win a big one. On to Round 2.

Sometimes a win can feel like a loss. Almost Blowing a 23 pt lead just shows they haven’t learned a thing this season. Even if they did somehow hold on at the end. Mike White needs to take a long look in the mirror.

White’s offensive scheme put the Dwgs in plenty of scoring opportunities to put this away throughout the last 10 min. He nor the coaching staff is on the floor missing the easy shots. This team got tight and missed shots while Xavier hit them. They held on the last 1:35, which did show growth v. other games this season. Experience matters…hopefully they can beat Wake again…assuming they win.

@WoodstockDawg “Offensive scheme “ lol…,we don’t have one. It’s just high post screen & then 1/4 iso. Which leads to contested shots. We never run set plays or sets with reverse ball movement or back cuts or anything that gets you the layups or catch & shoot 3s that you want when the other team is making a run. Offensively White is a special needs coach. If he doesn’t hire an “OC” his days of being a power 5 HC will be done forever in 1-2 seasons. There is nothing to be excited about a 18-16 team that blew a 20+ pt lead & had to get a call to hold on.
