ATHENS — Kirby Smart signed a two-year contract extension that will take his annual salary to $13 million, highest among collegiate football coaches.

Hey, as long as he can keep bringing home some more SEC & National Championships under these challenging conditions then the price is worth it. If it hadn't been for some key injuries that kept a couple of guys out late last season then we would have most likely beaten Bama and been in the playoffs (although some would rightly argue the Dawgs should have been in the playoffs anywho). Kirby is a great coach, and I expect him to continue to bring pride to the University.
