Yes, Ohio State is loaded, and their defense should dominate. With the best RB duo in the country, their other question remains how well their OL will play. Besides Howard, that is the biggest question going forward for them this season. BUT, if Day can't win a National Championship with this squad, holy cow, then he should be fired. This is the prove it year for the Buckeyes with a very manageable regular season schedule.

Beck's success will depend as much on how he syncs up with his receivers as can those boys create real separation. Our elite OL should provide plenty of time to throw. According to Platt's pre-season rankings, Dawgs will play teams ranked #3, #5, #7, #13, and #16 during the regular season. That is brutal. Pray for a mostly injury-free season. And we get that same schedule in 2025!

Ohio State has the apparent advantage of a much, much easier schedule. I say apparent because when playoff time comes a team with a tougher schedule has the benefit of playing better teams. Then there’s this: Follow the money! Klatt, for example, has a clear bias towards Big Ten teams.

Then there’s Cowherd calling Beck “Georgia good” and intending that to be a criticism. That’s goofy in several ways. It’s the most goofy in that being “Georgia good” is about as good as it gets in the college football world. In fact, most every coach, team, and player in college football these days has one goal: to be “Georgia good.”

If Cowherd was “Georgia good” I might watch his show. Unfortunately, he’s nowhere near being “ Georgia good.”

Ohio St…..difficult schedule? Are you freaking kidding me? How about we trade Texas and Alabama on the road with visiting Oregon and hosting Michigan with OSU next year. What a joke!!

are we ranking teams based on how they do in the transfer portal now? I’m confused.

    Klatt is Florida good.

UGADawg, love your comment….I'd say it a bit differently…..Klatt is Gator Good, except we got the only GOOD the Gators had…giving us the best RB duo in college football….Etienne/Robinson…..As far as QB, Beck, 2nd year starter, 72.4% comp, 3941yds, 24 TD, 6 INT, 116 yds rushing. Howard The Hawkeye/Bucknut First year starter, 61.3% comp, 2643yds, 24 TD, 10 INT, 351 yds rushing…….All us Dawgs love being: BECK GOOD!

As is frequently said, "It is the talking season" and national sports personages will talk. Their banter does not influence me one way or the other. With the playoff set to expand, we sill see if OSU is bettter than UGA. I actually appreciate the national pundits placing the Dawgs in the champsionship discussion. As lopng as we are in the top 4 , It will be to our advantage with the epanded playoff system.
