4-star LB Jadon Perlotte, a longtime UGA commit, has flipped his commitment to USC.

he can join that dl and nobody will know who he is
Another Dawg in the USC Holding tank, no problem. We'll pick him up later
USC has a simple recruiting strategy: Just buy UGA commitments.
Um...is this really even news as the entire college football world new this was coming
First it was FSU trying to poach ($$$) another UGA commit. Now apparently UGA and USC are waging war against each other.
I hope his commit w/USC sticks. This kid has been on a rating's free fall since June '23. In June '23 Perlotte was rated a Top 30 (Rivals) recruit in the country. Since then his rating has plummeted outside the Top 200.
UGA already has 21 commits. Will be needing room in the class for higher rated recruits that will fill out the class.
Exactly. Using On3 as a guide, we're currently favored to sign six top-300 2025 recruit:
There's also a good chance that CJ Wiley (WR #14, overall #96) will flip from FSU.
If we kept the rest and added those seven guys, we'd end up with a 2025 class of 28.
Add to that the depth we're stocking up at ILB and OLB, and losing the #21 ILB in the class is probably a blessing.
In today's world I never get excited about anyone who commits. It's when they sign and then get on campus. Good luck to him though
Best of luck over 2000 miles from home..GoDAWGS!
Thank you for that. I knew he dropped but wondered how much. Do you know WHEN he started to fall? Was it after this summer's camps or during last football season?
He has too much competition to get on the field at UGA. No surprise here.
Money talks and "scrub commits" walk…..hopefully all to Lincoln Riley & USC……at this rate ole Lincoln ain't long for So Cal!
Player dropped 50 spots (Rivals) during the '23 season and 90 spots in 1Q24. Dropped another 15 spots since. This may be a player who still thinks and acts like he is a 5*. May not be hungry enough to do the work needed to develop at UGA.
This post is not "Off Topic"….
Who clicked that it was
hard to get overly excited til they put on the hat and sign on the line
