Too many penalties. Against better opponents, momentum could influence game outcome. Good, early lesson that Kirby and staff will emphasize and clean up. Go Dawgs!
I’m glad you weren’t a teacher. Your grading system is suspect at best. The receivers get an A, but the one that throws the ball to them gets a B? Come on, man.
We have probably been spoiled by UGA's coaching and attention to detail. But you do expect (hope for?) perfection when executing against an inferior opponent.
I just watched the Cowboys line up for a 67 yard FG attempt to close out the half w/ .04 on the clock. They had 2 time outs and took a delay of game penalty as the K made the kick. THEN the cowboy's HC and ST coach were seen yelling at the officials. SMH.
The penalties will give CKS something to pound in their heads this week.
Running backs deserve an "A" IMO. They averaged almost seven yards a carry, and Branson looked more confident and dynamic than against Clemson.
WRs deserved a "B+" (not an A). Good route running and few (if any) drops. But they had trouble with throws that were just a little off. Not all of Carson's mis-timed passes were catchable, but I'm guessing around half of them would have been caught by, say, Brock Bowers or even Emeka Eguka.
I agree with Connor's "B" for Beck. The mis-timed passes at the end Q2 and the last half of Q3 were concerning. After starting the game 11 for 11, he went seven for 14. For a normal QB that would have been an A-. But neither game's performance has been what you'd expect from a Heisman favorite. We need him to get into mid-season form before Alabama.

Happy for the win. BUt dissapointed in the 2nd team offense. That was a game that an Alabama usually wins 65-3. Somewhat underwhelming performance.
