Have to agree with zonadawg61. Today was embarrassing. Next week could be catastrophic. I’ve seen all of Beck throwing the ball directly to the opposition. Need to move on.
@JBMDawg46 I think Beck can pass and score with the best of them when he gets in the zone. Texas will blitz him all night because he's a statue back there. Stetson could always draw in a defense and then make them look foolish with his legs. Beck, not so much. That said, if the D can't stop anyone and the long ball (which Texas loves) is there, long night. Who knows? We could 99% of the time know in our gut a Kirby team would show up — now I question what's going on there. Muschamp is obviously missed. Maybe he'll step back in for the last part of the season. Not impressed at all by the secondary coach. They look lost.
I thought for sure that once college football went to the 12 team playoff, Georgia would never be left out. Here it is though, halfway through the season and Georgia could be out of the playoffs with the same, poor play against Texas next week. Sad. Do we now need a 24 team playoff to insure Georgia gets in?
I just saw the Vandy score…I sure am glad Georgia doesn't have to play them this year.
