A much different Georgia team than we have seen so far this year will have to show up on Saturday to have a shot at winning. They will have to play "lights out" on both sides of the line for both halves to have a shot. Go Dawgs.
I'll believe it when I see it. UGA has stacked 4 and 5 star players in the secondary like cord wood. Better than any other team in college football. And they look lost. Beck can sling it for sure, but between the completions and drops come passes that are over, behind and into 2-3 man coverage. The first INT last week people are calling a batted ball — he threw it right at the defenders face. Makes no sense. Lastly, the O-Line is way below the standard. Truss has been in the program 5 years and he still get's boneheaded penalties to the tune of 1 or 2 per game. Things are just…off. I hope Kirby fixes it this week. And I know we've been spoiled the last 3 years, so I get any down votes. But reality is reality. The Munson in me has come back to roost.
If we had let Mykel's ankle heal and given it the time it needed, we would have had a much better chance that he would be playing at close to 100% on Saturday. Instead, the coaches have let him play some on an un-healed ankle, and he's lost his real effectiveness. I saw this coming weeks ago, and here we are with a key player limited in the most important game of the season so far.
Good luck dawgs! I think they will need it (based on what we've seen so far). 2nd half against clempson was in my opin, the best we've seen. secondary is horrible. Guys better start caring, especially those who think they will be a top pick, See beck, d-line and starks stock drop every week LOL. J Humphrey needs to sit. Is it sad, I've already moved on to Next Year?? They could easily get 3 more losses IMO.
