Just going to put this out there and I’m sure it won’t be popular; Beck is the opposite of a big game QB. Nothing personal, I recognize he isn’t a professional and is still a young man, but it has to be mental because he appears to have all the physical traits. Not sure that can be fixed and it may cost the DAWGS a legitimate shot going forward.
That was a complete failure on offense after the defense forced a turnover. Like kirby said, they HAVE TO QUIT kicking fgs.
For the rest of the game we need a spy on Manning. When the defense overruns the pocket, he can’t be left free to run down the field.
1st half observations...
Defense showed up to play! Where have you been? Walker, Everette, 5 sacks, just fantastic!!
Beck looks so flustered. Happy feet. Just not doing well. Etienne is our offense along with Woodring. O-line doing a good job overall against a big defensive front.
Left plenty of points on the field but love seeing this defensive domination!!

He’s very inconsistent at the least. And against pressure he becomes very INT prone. We need to run the ball as much as possible. Go Dawgs !!
Wish we’d get more creative with How we run the ball. Not just straight up the gut every time.

Kirby will probably try to speed the game up now with a bunch of runs, even against loaded boxes. Put in Rashada, probably the best running qb they have.
@Henddawg - Beck has had some errant throws, but receivers have not done him any favors. DomLov got scared. Luckie tried to reach for touchdown rather than secure ball and also had one off his hands that caused a turnover. It’s not all on Beck.
That was dumb.
@UGADawg - definitely agree there but it is the passes to double and triple coverage, the aiming the ball, the locking in on one receiver, etc. To be honest, the one interception off of Luckie’s hands was partly Luckie and partly Beck. The pass was too high and while catchable, it would’ve take a whale of a catch.
That is a garbage PI call.
Who's the idiot that called the onside kick? Dumbest thing I've seen this year. Totally unnecessary and gives Texas a sniff.
